The Ministry of Finance, Maldives engages FJS to develop a principle-based harmonized procurement policy for State-Owned Enterprises that is within the parameters set in the public finance regulations, to help the SOEs to procure goods and services in a more competitive, transparent and cost-effective manner. The project involves conducting an analysis of procurement of goods, works and services procured by SOEs, assessing the relevancy of current public procurement regulation to SOE sector, developing a procurement guideline/policy for SOEs and developing functional responsibilities of procurement function and job description of the main staff of procurement function. “Presenting the Draft Procurement Policy to Heads of Procurement Department of SOEs”
